Amy Purevsuren

Amy Purevsuren lives with her husband and three children in Unalaska, Alaska, where she teaches high school language arts. In addition to reading together, she and her family enjoy camping and exploring the outdoors. Amy began her teaching career as a Peace Corps volunteer in Mongolia, where she lived and taught English as a second language for three years. Since then, she has taught English for 11 years in rural Alaska.  She is most passionate about inspiring her students to become lifelong readers and writers.
