Allyson Even

History Teacher

Allyson Even is an International Baccalaureate (IB) history teacher and teacher leader at KIPP University Prep in San Antonio, Texas. She is interested in equity approaches that go beyond just access to high-rigor courses and is deeply involved in developing AP and IB-for-all curriculum and pedagogy. Allyson is also a design group member for the Pivotal Network at Georgetown University and an alum of Fulbright-García Robles and Teach for America. She is currently a graduate student at Miami University (Ohio) exploring disciplinary and pedagogical intersections between the biological sciences and social studies.
