Adriana Jean-Vazquez

High School ELA and Spanish Teacher

I am a National Board–certified teacher in English Language and Literature with a master’s in Secondary Education English Curriculum and Instruction. I’m in my 10th year teaching high school English and my second year teaching Spanish.

My goal is to provide rich, literacy-based instruction through lessons that are relevant and joyful for all learners. I’ve primarily taught in career-technical education magnet schools, where the goal is to create project-based learning experiences that students will remember and apply to their fields of interest. I also look for opportunities to connect STEM learning with ELA literacy and writing strategies. I’m based in Las Vegas, Nevada.
