What has been your biggest success with classroom layout and/or student seating arrangements?
This week’s episode of Edutopia’s “School of Practice” podcast dives into both of these pieces of instructional practice. I share my approaches, but I'd love to hear what you do -- especially strategies that you think other teachers and students could benefit from trying? Please identify grade level and subject as that often influences applicability to our readers.
(Note: I know that hearing some of these ideas just adds another layer of frustration to teachers that have to deal with spaces, furniture and class sizes that will make many of these answers especially challenging to put in practice but hopefully some of them will contribute a piece of something you can use.)
By the way, you can listen and subscribe to "School of Practice" on Apple and Spotify.
