Progress monitoring IEP goals is essential, but it can also feel like a constant juggling act. Between multiple students with multiple goals, different service minutes and settings, and the day-to-day reality of teaching, data collection can easily become overwhelming (or end up happening in a last-minute scramble).

With that in mind: When collecting progress-monitoring data on IEP goals, what collaborative strategies between general education and special education teachers make data collection more efficient—and more consistent? I’d love to hear how you share the workload, streamline routines, and build data collection into instruction without it taking over your week.
