I have a 5-year-old student with an adult attitude. She needs to learn more. She listens but shows her attitude instead of listening to her teacher and sometimes her peers.

How can I correct or help a 5-year-old female with a disrespectful attitude? She cries out, wanting a hug after giving her sad face, then sticks out her tongue and rolls her eyes at her teacher. It’s an ongoing problem. I spoke with her family. When she is asked to complete her work, she is very easily distracted. She sticks out her tongue and rolls her eyes. She will remain sitting, not doing or trying to finish her work. She knows all popular songs. I can ignore her, but I'm not in education to belittle anyone. I want her to understand how respect is given and earned.
