Tip #15: Show Your Gratitude with a Video Conference

Setting up a video conference is a great way to say thank you -- live on camera -- using some fun educational technology.

If you're a parent, gather your kids together to do a video conference with a former teacher they really loved, so the teacher can see how they've changed.

If you're a teacher, have your students say thanks a teacher in a room down the hall -- or a teacher in another part of the world! You can reach out to other educators in Edutopia’s Community to find a classroom to partner with, or find like-minded educators at Skype in the classroom. Your class can sing, do a play, or just yell “THANK YOU” to the teacher on the other end.

Check out Skype or Google+ Hangouts for free video conferencing services.
