Toni Rose Deanon

Toni Rose Deanon is a sixth-grade English teacher, English subject coordinator, and Modern Classroom Project fellow at DC International School in Washington, DC. She’s been teaching since 2010, and is passionate about social justice, reading, sharing stories, student-centered classes, classroom technology, social and emotional learning, restorative justice, and flexible seating. When she’s not reading, she’s laughing with her students, dancing with her dog, eating ice cream, working out, or napping.
