George Lucas Educational Foundation

Stephen Noonoo

Journalist

I’ve been an editor and journalist covering education for more than a decade, with a special focus on helping educators tell their own stories. Previously, I was K–12 editor for EdSurge, but I’ve also worked at eSchool News, THE Journal, CUE, and SmartBrief. I hold degrees in English and French from the University of New Mexico, and my work has appeared in The New Republic, HuffPost, Education Week, The American Prospect, and elsewhere. Now settled in California, I’ve lived in four states and one Canadian province. I also write the teacher-focused newsletter Warning Bell.
