Sonja Cassella

Elementary School Teacher

Sonja Cassella is an elementary educator with a decade of classroom experience in grades K–4. Born in Berkeley, California, and currently living in Colorado, she has a bachelor’s degree in English literature from the University of California at Irvine, and a master’s in education from the University of Texas at Tyler. She is deeply interested in reading instruction and how all students can best develop and master literacy skills. For the last four years, she has been the editor of Classical Education Today, a blog focusing on the current classical education movement and its methods.
