Sarah Blazer

Third-Grade Teacher

I am a third-grade teacher with a strong passion for urban education. I teach in Chicago, while also working toward getting my master’s in teaching biological sciences from Miami University. Each year, I work with urban middle school students in a science-based leadership program that culminates in a summer trip to a dude ranch in Wyoming. I also serve as a teacher leader and coach for my school’s math curriculum and assist teachers in their continued use of the program by facilitating ongoing professional development and offering on-site support.
