Rupa Chandra Gupta

Rupa Chandra Gupta is cofounder and CEO of Sown to Grow, an online classroom platform where students set goals, track their own progress, and reflect on the learning strategies that work best (or new ones to try). Before launching Sown to Grow, Rupa worked in San Jose Unified School District, most recently leading a school redesign effort to personalized learning and criterion-based grading.

Prior to working in schools, Rupa spent nearly 10 years in management and nonprofit consulting at Bain & Company and The Bridgespan Group.  She holds a BS from UC Berkeley, an MBA from Stanford University, and a masters in educational leadership through the Broad Residency.
