Rebecca Hall

Remote High School Science Teacher

Rebecca is a remote high school science teacher for Jeffco Public Schools in Colorado. She went remote at the start of the pandemic, but prior to that, taught in-person at several middle and high schools and worked in professional development and leadership at her district office.

Since day one of her career in 2004, she has been on a mission to support all students in the classroom, especially finding ways for students who typically struggle in a traditional learning environment to succeed. Her courses are driven by student inquiry, through implementation of project-based learning, model-based inquiry, and a focus on phenomena in science. She works in diverse schools and has a certificate in culturally and linguistically diverse education.

Rebecca received a bachelor’s in biology from Bowdoin College, and a master’s in education, secondary science, from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
