Praise Lee

Since 2002, Praise Lee has worked in diverse settings ranging from the farms of central Illinois, to Chicago Public Schools, to universities in Seoul, South Korea. For the last four years, she has led a school-wide professional development effort at a Chicago public high school in the practice of close reading. She is currently working as a literacy coach at the school to encourage the practice to be less prescriptive and more inquiry-driven.
