Patrick Mooney

Patrick Mooney is a 34-year secondary English teaching veteran in Northern California with a bachelor’s in English and a master’s in secondary education. Besides serving as an English teacher, Patrick has also been a leadership teacher, athletic director, interim assistant principal, department chair, Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) visiting team member, WASC coordinator, and alpine ski coach. Patrick has written for a variety of publications on the topics of education and writing instruction, mentoring new teachers, raising children, and ski racing.
