Michael Ida

Math and Computer Science Teacher

Michael is a math and computer science teacher. He is an advisor for the National Honor Society, Kalani Oahu Mathematics League team, and computer science club. He is a 25-year veteran classroom teacher, part of the e-school teaching staff, a Hawaii State Teacher Fellow, an NBCT member, a PAEMST state finalist, and actively serves the Hawaii Council of Teachers of Mathematics. Michael has degrees from the California Institute of Technology, Northwestern University, and Boston College. A passionate lifelong learner, Michael believes that the hunger to keep growing and learning is the greatest gift that teachers can bestow on students.
