Matthew Steen

With over a decade of experience in math and science education, I have served as both a teacher and an instructional leader at a charter school in Camden, New Jersey. Prior to becoming a supervisor, I was a teacher leader for grades 5–8, focusing on curriculum development and problem-solving initiatives.

As an instructional supervisor, I have designed and implemented curricula, led district-wide professional development, created K–12 school schedules, spearheaded district recruitment efforts, and facilitated weekly professional learning communities (PLCs) for my department. I am deeply committed to supporting both teachers and students by providing the necessary resources and guidance while maintaining high expectations to drive meaningful academic growth.
