Mason Nichols
Reading Interventionist
Mason Nichols is a reading interventionist in Texas. As an advocate for social and emotional learning, he uses diverse literature and teaches strategies to help students build empathy and self-awareness. He believes in modeling to students a growth mindset and to always strive to continue learning.
He taught third grade for several years and was awarded the district Teacher of the Year award. He recently became a reading interventionist and is part of a teacher instructional coaching cadre. He has presented at ISTE and TCEA.
