Lori Friesen

Dr. Lori Friesen taught elementary school in Canada and overseas for 10 years before earning her Ph.D. in education from the University of Alberta, Canada. She taught at the University of Lethbridge, Canada, and is host of the Beginning Teacher Talk podcast, founder of the R.E.A.D.Y. for School Academy, and creator of the Dogs Help Kids Read and Succeed literacy program in California. Dr. Lori believes that just because you’re a beginning elementary teacher, there’s no need for you to struggle like one.
