Liz Ramos is a high school history teacher and teaches literacy and methods to social science pre-service candidates. She was awarded Outstanding Secondary Level Social Studies Teacher of the Year by the California Council for the Social Studies and is a board member of the News Literacy Project. She learns with her students to bring a more inclusive history into the classroom, and empowers students to develop an inquiry mindset, know their agency, and get into Good Trouble.
