Larisa Black is an educator, consultant, and innovator with over 16 years of experience teaching high school science and currently the Innovation and Technology Coordinator at South Carolina Connections Academy. She is the mom of 2 great kiddos, wife to an excellent cook, the founder of Teach Wise AI, and co-founder of the EduGuardians professional learning network. Passionate about empowering educators and students to use AI ethically, creatively, and effectively, Larisa combines her classroom expertise and personal experiences as a parent to create practical, story-driven approaches that inspire confidence with emerging technologies. She regularly presents at national conferences, leads professional development, and develops resources that help teachers save time, personalize learning, and spark curiosity.
