Kathryn Nieves

Teacher, Coordinator of Educational Technology Integration

Kathryn Nieves is an educational technology coordinator from New Jersey. She was previously a middle school special education teacher, working in the resource room, co-teaching/inclusion, and reading intervention classrooms. Kathryn is a Google Certified Innovator (VIA20), Trainer, and Educator. She is a doctoral candidate, working toward her Ed.D. in educational technology leadership. Kathryn is passionate about using educational technology to empower and support learners and believes in embedding choice and student interest into the classroom. She has presented at national conferences, including ISTE, CEC, and AMLE, as well as state and local conferences. She is currently an executive board member for the New Jersey Council of Teachers of English.
