Julie Wright is a teacher, instructional coach, and educational consultant with over 25 years of experience in rural, suburban, and urban education settings. Julie co-authored What Are You Grouping For? How to Guide Small Groups Based on Readers—Not the Book, and blogs for NCTE and other organizations. She is currently working on two new books—one about using short texts to fuel reading and writing and one about the power of planning. In her free time, Julie loves spending time in her garden and is a wanna-be beekeeper.
