Instructional Resource Teacher and Reading Intervention Specialist

Over Julie Stern's 13 years of teaching experience, she has taught 3rd grade, 5th grade, and 6th grade English Language Arts and Science. She recently moved into the position of Instructional Resource Teacher and 6-8 Reading Intervention Specialist at East Cary Middle School in Cary, NC. She has a Bachelors in Psychology and her Masters in Teaching from the University of Virginia. Julie is National Board certified and was a 2009 Teacher of the Year.

Julie currently lives with her husband and two children in Raleigh, NC.
