Julie McGahan

Julie McGahan is in her 19th year as building-level leader on Long Island, 13 of which have been spent in Oceanside School 6, three in Smithtown Mount Pleasant Elementary School, and three in Copiague at Deauville Gardens Elementary School. Prior to leadership, Julie was a bilingual speech and language pathologist. Julie has lived in Costa Rica, Spain, Italy, and Japan, seeking opportunity to study humanity, culture, and language. Next up is a summer in Tanzania, where Julie plans to study the relationship between dignity, curiosity, and vulnerability while volunteering with the Maasai people.
