Jordan Brinkman

I am very excited to join the Lucas Education Research team! I am particularly interested in science education, game-based learning, and stimulating student interest in science.

Prior to joining Lucas Education Research, I received my formal education training during my Master's Program (Secondary Science Education) at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Afterwards, I taught high school biology for two years in Missouri and then worked for three years as a Research Associate at Horizon Research, Inc. (HRI), a small research firm in North Carolina that specializes in research and evaluation in the STEM education. At HRI, I worked on a variety of STEM educational research projects that examined issues such as teacher professional development, curriculum design, and student achievement. In my free time I enjoy watching movies, playing video games, reading, and exercising.
