Heather Pang

I teach 8th grade US history at Castilleja School, an all girls 6-12 school in Palo Alto, CA. I am interested in technology, making, and life long learning. I teach at the school where I went to high school, and I have sent my children to the same progressive K-8 school I attended, Peninsula School in Menlo Park.

Over the past few years I have incorporated more hands-on, maker projects into my classroom. I have always felt that the more students do themselves, the more they learn. I started with digital projects, and since we have had a FabLab at school I have expanded the projects to include models both big and small.
