I have taught in the public school system for 38 years. I have a B.PE, B.ED, and M.ED. I have a particular interest in mass participation, which led me to be heavily involved with intramural programming locally and nationally during my career. I also am most interested in what I believe is the first obvious step in education which is for teachers to establish a relationship with students. This leads students to be more receptive to the teacher's task of guiding them in Personal/Social Management Skills, which in turn allows growth in all other areas of curriculum.
