Dan Ryder

Education Director

Dan Ryder is a 22-year veteran educator, improviser, design thinker, and idea wrangler. He’s coauthor of Intention: Critical Creativity in the Classroom and co-creator of Panels and Perspectives: Comics in the EFL Classroom. After two decades in the English department, he now serves as education director of the Success and Innovation Center at Mount Blue Campus, a rural regional high school in Farmington, Maine. Dan is also an Apple Distinguished Educator and a national recipient of the Horace Mann NEA Foundation Award for Teaching Excellence.
