Catharyn Shelton

Education Technology Professor

Catharyn Shelton, PhD, is an assistant professor of educational technology at Northern Arizona University. She brings a background as a K-12 teacher (high school Spanish, special ed, bilingual elementary), and currently teaches undergraduate and graduate education courses. In her teaching and research, Catharyn explores how technology can help or hinder teacher learning, networking, and agency. Her recent publications appear in Slate, Teachers College Record, and Contemporary Issues in Technology and Teacher Education.
