Cassandra O’Sullivan Sachar, Ed.D., teaches developmental writing courses in the Department of Academic Enrichment at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. A secondary English teacher for fifteen years in Delaware public schools, she received her Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership with a Literacy Specialization from the University of Delaware.

Dr. Sachar has published numerous educational articles in sources such as The Teaching Professor, Faculty Focus, Research & Teaching in Developmental Education, and Chronicle Vitae. In addition, she enjoys writing fiction.
