Brittany J. Patrick

Doctoral Candidate in Special Education

Brittany J. Patrick (she/her) is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Special Education at the University of Maryland College Park. Brittany has served as a special education teacher, general education teacher, and school leader in North Carolina, Washington, DC, and San Antonio. Presently, she works in special education policy for a large urban territory. Brittany has also served as an independent consultant to K–12 public and private schools across the nation. She is the CEO and founder of Umoja Collective LLC, a special education training and advocacy firm based in Maryland.
