Barry Hoonan

Teacher and Educational Consultant

Barry Hoonan is a teacher, educational consultant, writer, and doodler. He works with schools both nationally and internationally and enjoys giving keynote speeches and workshops. Barry co-authored What Are You Grouping For?  How to Guide Small Groups Based on Readers—Not the Book, and Beyond Reading and Writing. Barry currently teaches fifth and sixth grade at Odyssey School on Bainbridge Island. He hikes, writes poetry, and runs his golden retriever.
