Anne Beaton

Anne M. Beaton, PhD, is a high school English teacher and Building Assets, Reducing Risks (BARR) coordinator in Minnesota. She regularly seeks opportunities to write to remind herself that writing is hard and to model drafting, revising, and the publication process for her students. Her focus on student engagement has led her to listen to students and teachers in an attempt to create environments that get students to think.
