Alyssa Tormala is the vice principal of professional development and innovation at Jesuit High School in Portland, Oregon. Tormala holds a J.D. from Stanford Law School and practiced law for nearly seven years, but in 2007 she shifted to education and has never looked back. She lives in Oregon City with her husband and daughter, a dog, and five horses.
