Alyssa Tormala

Instructional Technology Coach and Information Science Department Chair at St. Mary's Academy

Alyssa Tormala is the Instructional Technology Coach and the Information Science Department Chair at St. Mary's Academy in Portland, Oregon, where she also teaches technology classes. Before leaping into the education field, Tormala received her J.D. from Stanford Law School and practiced law for over six years. She received her M.A.T. and M.Ed in Education from Portland State University. Tormala currently also serves as an adjunct instructor on educational technology at Concordia University's College of Education in Portland, and frequently speaks at local and national educational technology conferences. When not at school, Tormala enjoys time with her husband and daughter, her dog, two cats and five horses.
