After-school program design questions

Hi, I’m currently designing an after-school play program for primary school children as part of an assignment. I’m trying to make it engaging, inclusive and suitable for a range of abilities. I’d really appreciate your input: What types of play activities work best in after-school settings? How do you balance structured vs free play? Any ideas for low-cost equipment or games?
