The person first, then everything else

John is a doctoral candidate attending Western Connecticut State University. He is researching STEM programming, Theories of Intelligence, and Creative Production among secondary students. He is the recipient of the 2014 Connecticut Educators Computer Association award for transforming education through technology and innovation. John is an assistant principal in the Connecticut Technical High School System. His teaching experience spans elementary through high school. John and his wonderful wife have two children and a very odd Golden Doodle named Finnley.
