Jen Stauffer

Science Teacher

Jen Stauffer has over 20 years’ experience as a science teacher at Hopkins School. After receiving a graduate degree in chemistry from Yale and teaching organic chemistry and biochemistry at Augustana College, she was awarded a highly selective Knowles Teaching Initiative Fellowship to begin her career in secondary education. Jen has presented at NSTA conferences on the topic of lesson study and has written for The POGIL Project, TUVA Data Literacy, and The Journal of Chemical Education. She currently co-leads Hopkins’s AI Committee and is collaborating with Yale’s Teaching and Learning Center on GenAI in education.
