George Lucas Educational Foundation

Heather Lambert

Learning Consultant, COREChild

In 1997 I received my undergraduate degree in elementary education. I have taught middle school reading, language arts, social studies, science, industrial technology, life skills, and careers education. I also have a graduate degree in Reading Instruction and one in Instructional Technology. Currently I work as a reading specialist. My love for research, writing, and professional development pushed me to become a Project CRISS trainer and to present at educational conferences on topics such as reading and student motivation. In November, 2014, I opened COREChild, a learning consulting company that educates families on how to approach learning.
