Are there any online projects similar to this tracking Obama's actions post election? I begin teaching Participation in Government in February, and I think I am lucky to be able to evaluate changes that occur.

I'm just finishing up a 15-week series of audio lectures/podcasts associated with a curriculum for using teh 2012 election to teach practical critical thinking skills. The project is non-partisan and cost free (it's an act of love, as I hope this week's podcast - which features my own 8th grader who has gone through the material - demonstrates).

You can find the curriculum and other associated material (podcast, lesson plans, quizzes, etc.) at www.criticalvoter.com.

These students will debate on Nov. 2nd at noon EST via Google+ Hangout. We'll tweet out the link next week!

I absolutely love teaching

I absolutely love teaching about the political process, and I don't think students are ever too young to learn the fundamentals of elections. At my school we make a big deal out of Election Day and use it as the day we elect student council. These sound like some great resources for teaching about this important day.
