As one who also teaches the Great Gatsby, I really like the idea of incorporating the technology, particularly the Wordle. I think it would be interesting as an analytical tool. Students could compare Wordles between chapters to find simmilarities and shifts. I also teach the Raisin in the Sun and we discuss the American Dream. It would be a great tool to compare the Wordles between each and find connections in the diction.

Thank you for the ideas. I struggle to get my students to interact with their reading. Many tend to resist annotating, and both of these strategies find unique ways to force students to slow down and really look at the choices an author makes. I'll be implementing this in this upcoming school year!
