A 20+ year educator with experience in suburban and urban schools, southern & midwestern schools, K4-12th grade in the past, currently 3-12 grade, classrooms have included ELL, At-Risk, IB, & "regular". Currently enrolled in the PhD program @ Univ of WI-Milwaukee. My dissertation research is focused on an urban Free School in Minneapolis, MN "Second Foundation School" documenting the day-day inner workings and effectiveness of this philosophy as it relates to student transitions from school to careers and transitions from school to lifelong contentedness.
