WHAT WORKS IN EDUCATION The George Lucas Educational Foundation

Laurie Chu

I joined the foundation in 1992 and have witnessed how new technologies have transformed communication and information sharing. I see through the schools we've profiled, and hear from the boundless Edutopia community, that you are putting these developments to work, demonstrating how we can give all children a fair chance to learn to their fullest potential. I look forward to continually making your time at Edutopia.org useful and inspirational so that learning is engaging for everyone. I'm a third generation native Californian, and proud parent of two public schooled kids.

Areas of Interest:
lifelong learning, SEL, information design
