Kristina Peters

Kristina is the eLearning Specialist and School Library Liaison for the Nebraska Department of Education where she supports digital learning, advocates for school libraries, spearheads the NeBooks Project, and provides professional learning opportunities in the department and across the state. Kristina brings her vivacious spirit to her presentations across the country and within the state. She is a co-organizer of EdCampOmaha, Edcamp Foundation Board Member, NETA Board Member, Google for Education Certified Trainer, Omaha YP Summit Marketing Chair, Pepperdine MALT alum, and social butterfly. Kristina holds a Master of Arts in Learning Technologies from Pepperdine University, in addition to a Master of Science in Reading and ESL from Concordia University of Nebraska. Previously, Kristina has experience in the elementary setting; as a Kindergarten teacher, second grade teacher, and as a K-6 ELL teacher.
