Joanne Andrews

I have been the librarian at Bishop Gorman High School for the past 14 years. My interests lie in the areas of Information Literacy and the use of emerging technologies and digital resources for research and project-based learning.

Prior to becoming the librarian at Bishop Gorman H.S., I taught English here for six years. I was also an English instructor at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, for three years. My other experience includes teaching communications courses for City Colleges of Chicago and the U.S. Air Force in Athens, Greece and serving as a budget analyst for the U.S. Army in Greece. In addition to my media background, I hold an M.A. in English, an M.S. in Management, and an A.A.S. degree in Computer Science.
