I love teaching. Like, really love it. Over the years, I have taught across multiple grade levels; I currently teach second grade.
A few things I've learned over the years, in no particular order:
1. Smile at your students every single morning as soon as they walk through your door.
2. Morning Meetings are a necessity.
3. If your student draws you a picture or writes you a note, read it. Tape it on the wall. It matters.
4. Say what you don't know and learn everything.
5. Hold on to your ideas lightly.
6. Everyone loves reading a good list.
