Florina Rodov is an author, entrepreneur and educator. She is co-executive director of Authentic Manhattan Development Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to diverting the school to prison pipeline for low-income gifted students. As a NYC Teaching Fellow who taught in Washington Heights, Florina was instrumental in getting low-income students into top universities on full scholarship. Her writing appears in The Atlantic, Quartz, Entrepreneur, Narratively and other publications. She is writing a memoir about teaching in the inner city. She holds a B.A. in English from Columbia University and an M.S. in Teaching from Fordham.
