I teach/travel to learn more about technology and its integration into education. Computer Dept. Head since 2001 at Eagle Hill School in Massachusetts. Since 2010, I have been active on my own professional development and travel: ESL teacher in Guangzhou, China summer 2010; earned an NEH grant in 2011 for studies about the Himalayas; in 2012 traveled to Ottawa, Canada for a great study tour on Canada; 2013 NEH grant on Native American studies and summer 2014 chosen for more Native American studies from the Gilder Lehrman group, studying up at Dartmouth. It all began back in 2005 when I participated in a study tour to Japan courtesy of National Consortium for Teaching about Asia, NCTA, and it was then I realized that intense study workshops and I worked well together.
