WHAT WORKS IN EDUCATION The George Lucas Educational Foundation

Dan Callahan

After spending eight years as a Special Educator in Upper Darby School District, PA, I moved in 2010 to Massachusetts to become an Instructional Technology Specialist for Burlington Public Schools. I currently work as a Professional Learning Specialist for the Massachusetts Teachers Association.

In May 2010, I co-founded the Edcamp movement of unconferences by helping to organize Edcamp Philly. I now currently serve as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Edcamp Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to building and supporting a community of empowered learners.

I am also an adjunct professor in Next-Generation Learning for Antioch University New England.
