I am a science educator and teacher researcher at Education Development Center Inc. (EDC) in Waltham MA who aims to promote science and STEM learning in Early Childhood classrooms, programs, and schools. I work primarily with preschool and K children and their teachers around integrating science, STEM, play, and language/literacy into their curricula and documenting children's scientific thinking.. I also develop EC science and STEM curriculum and family/teacher materials. I am a science advisor for the animated educational series Curious George (http://pbskids.org/curiousgeorge/) and worked as an advisor and writer for the PEEP and the Big Wide World Explorer's guide (http://www.peepandthebigwideworld.com/en/educators/) and The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot about That! parent and teacher materials (http://www.pbs.org/parents/catinthehat/explorer_guide.html). I'm also a cofacilitator for NAEYC's Early Childhood Science Interest forum.
